Petua Hilangkan Ulcer

Helooo dearies..

I'm having a very bad fever. I guess maybe because I got it from miss ayra and because the lack of sleep for having to look after her the entire night. Thus my update today won't be as long.

Just wanted to share some of the tips/petua on how to cure ur mouth ulcers. And thanx again to my dear fb frens for coming up with so many suggestion.

p/s: the only thing that really work for me is the orrepaste and also zhulian toothpaste cause it contains aloe vera innit.

Fever No More

This is ayra post fever. She has a small shrieking voice which her papa finds it very annoying especially when she starts this habit of repeating her words zillions of times until people say 'yes' or 'okie' to whatever that she is saying. Its a pretty powerful weapon in getting peep's attention cause you can't help but acknowledge to whatever she says before you can proceed in peace with whatever your doing even if your on the phone or sleeping or worse still even if ur in the loo. Oh well, even as annoying it can be, I'm glad to hear the annoying shrieking lil voice again and happy that she is back to her normal self now. Furthermore she talks a lot and is a very active lil angel. Click here to view the previous post on ayra playing the piano.

Ayra and Miffy

A video of my angels on our short trip to Penang somewhere around April...Sorry for the uncensored angels bathing in their diapers. It was one of the unplanned stop to the beach and me being a soft-hearted mom, juz can't say no when they(refers to ayra as she was the only one who managed to soak herself ) splashed themselves with the salt water. Having no option, I had to say yes to her. So to ibu and papa out there, pls have spare of everything in your car ALWAYS ie the swimming suits and stuff..

Fever??

Thats a picture of my angel, Ayra. She is Hyper-allergic to nuts. And yess...any kind of nuts..be it macademia, walnut, peanut, almond, u name it. And her favourite activity is EATING. She loves eating a LOT and eats almost anything. So yesterday evening, she was down with fever, runny nose, cough and a lil wheezing. The nuts was the culprit. After giving her some paracetamol, a glass of yogurt drink, her dose of inhaler, cough syrup and drinking plenty of water, her fever subsides and the wheezing stops. But the cough was there till morning came and the fever came back. So I tried using tamarind juice by applying it to her entire head. The feverish slowly subsides, and she is now sleeping soundly.

Well the main reason for me putting up this post is to get tips and also give tips on what should you do to bring down the body temperature back to normal. Well as for me, I usually use tamarind juice and smother it over the entire head..and also drink yogurt drink/yogurt itself[cause it contains probiotic or active live bacterial culture]..it does wonders to your body. And as a mom, its easier to persuade ur kids in taking anything other than the medicine. 

A friend of mine also suggested using the hibiscus flower and scrunch it in the water to extract the juice or something and then smother the juice on the entire head jugak. And another tips was to use the shallots which is then mix with coconut oil and smother over the head/body. Barley is beleived to have the cooling effects jugak cause when i was small, remembered that whenever im having very high fever, my mom will make me drink the barley juice.Any other method or ways that i don't know of??Do share..thanx dearies.

And this is ayra with her fever. 

Pls pray that she'll be fine so that she can play happily with her sister ( miffy ) again.Miffy is bored today as she has no companion to play with and is nagging her papa to 'teman' her with everything.

Make it Last Longeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Try this tips..it really works..


Fragrance lasts longer on some people than on others because of differences in our skin (oily to dry) and in our skin's PH levels. To achieve a longer effect, try layering your fragrance. Start by using the fragrance bath gel, (if the company offers one), then the moisturizer or powder, lastly the Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum or Eau de Cologne, will usually have a longer lasting effect.

Also, apply your fragrance low on the body, and on your neck, so that the scent rises and you won't lose it as quickly. A light spray on the hair can last all day.


1. Splash weaker concentrates such as Eau de Toilette (EDT) on cooler parts of the body for maximum effect.

2. Some experts claim that perfume lasts longer when spritzed lightly onto damp skin. Try spraying it on after a shower.

3. Wear it on your wrists, but don't rub it together cause it will alter the smell.

4. Apply to pulse points: wrists, navel, collarbone and even behind the knees or at the ankle.

5. Layering perfume is the ideal way to make the fragrance last longer. Start by using the bath foam and soap, then the body lotion and finish with the fragrance itself.

6. Behind the ears is the worst place for fragrance. There are no sebaceous glands there, so the alcohol will dry and age the skin.

Parfum, EDP, EDT or Cologne...tester?

This is another entry on different concentration of perfumes category..

First is the Parfum which consists of 20% perfume, 80% alcohol. Top & middle notes will lasts four to six hours. Also known as Perfume extract, ‘Perfume’ is the most concentrated and smoothest of the four types. Typically made up of a 20-40% concentration of scented compounds, perfume is definitely the most expensive to buy.

Second is the Eau de Parfum (EDP) which is 10-15% perfume, remainder alcohol. An EDP scent will usually fade after four to five hours, but the edp base notes can linger for a 24 hour period. Fragrances with an EDP concentration are perfect if you need an all day scent.

Third the Eau de Toilette (EDT) consisting of 5-12% perfume, remainder alcohol and water. Top & middle notes will lasts 2 to 4 hours. This remains the most common scent strength preferred. Some people find that some EDT perfumes last a long while, but generally these are better left for night time use where the scent isn’t needed for as long.

Fourth is the Eau de Cologne (EDC) consisting of 2-3% perfume, remainder mostly water. Lasts about 2 hours. 

Fifth is the Eau Fraiche which is 3% perfume, remainder mostly water. Lasts about 2 hours.

Last but not least is the Tester category which had been produced as a tester unit for counter usage. The parfum ingredient is the same as normal selling perfumes. The testers set that we have are still full in size and not been used by anybody.

p/s:there have been claims that the tester units to be more concentrated compared to the ones which is sold over the counter as tester units are the ones which plays the role to woo you in buying the perfume. anyhoo,we have all this..;p happy shopping..

Perfume Tips

since sooo many of my customers and friends was asking about the tips on lastingness of perfumes, i'll write up a post on tips and factors contributing to the reason as to why when some people wears a perfume, it can lasts longer but some lasts less..

First of all, it is clear that what smells good on one person may not smell good on another. Its bcoz we all have different natural body odors that may mix well with some fragrances and not all. Well its just like noticing a fantabulous outfit on someone and then buying the exact same outfit, only to find out that it do not look that fab on you. The same goes for perfumes. For those who have never tried any perfume just play it safe and go to your local department store and try some before you purchase it over the net. And for all those who have tried it and didn't like it, don't blame the designer or down-talk the product; admitting that it did not go well with your body chemistry is a more proper way. As stated before, there are different strokes for different folks.

Bear in mind that the type of skin you have is one of the main factors of lastingness of the perfumes. If you have fair or dry skin, your perfume is going to wear off faster than those with oily or darker skin. This simply means that you might need to give yourself one or two sprays of your favorite scent during your lunch break. And to those working in air conditioned room, your perfume will likely to wear off faster too.

Use a variety of fragrance from time to time. It has been medically proven that scents have a strong effect on our emotions, mindset, even memories. Don’t feel afraid about trying new and different perfumes every 3-4 months, or along with the changes of the seasons.

And lastly, in order to keep your scent as true as the first day you bought it, place it in an airtight plastic container and store it in the fridge between uses. By doing so, you will slow down the process of oxidation, which breaks down the scent. This is especially useful during hot, bright and humid months (malaysia's weather).
